A new dev's first attempt

This is my first ever game project as a new developer. I ran into a ton of issues along the way—bugs in the code, trouble finding the right assets, you name it. I originally wanted to polish it more before releasing it, but if getting a somewhat complete game out there counts as the first step, I think I have to do it now. This isn’t the final version, though; I’ll keep updating and improving it later.
